DBZ Kakarot Playable Future Trunks – How to Unlock?

To unlock Future Trunks as a playable character in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, you’ll first have to complete the main story first. Then, you should travel to the outside of Capsule Corporation in West City, and look to the right. You’ll spot Bulma and Future Trunks standing outside, next to some kind of weird, egg-shaped machine. Have a chat with them, and you’ll learn that the egg thing is a time machine. Make sure to talk to them as Goku, by the way, to avoid any potential wire-crossing that the game experiences every now and again. When the conversation is over, Future Trunks will become available as a playable character.

How to Start Bulma Lone Guardian Side Quest as Future Trunks?

To start Bulma’s Lone Guardian side quest as Future Trunks, the first order of business is to go inside the Capsule Corporation building. Find Bulma in the courtyard next to the table and chairs. Then, if you haven’t already, go into the Party menu and swap Future Trunks in as the leader of the party. Then, interact with Bulma and select Speak to Bulma. This will start the Lone Guardian side quest.

If the side quest won’t start for you, you might have to complete some more side quests for Bulma, or some other side quests available in the open world. Check back in with Bulma every now and again as Future Trunks to see if the side quest has become available.
