Talents Guide | The Division
Talents are abilities in The Division that give the player a passive bonus during play. They are divided into three main types: medical, tech and security, corresponding to the skill types.
Unlike skills, talents don’t have to be activated. You simply equip them and they do all the work for you. You can equip a maximum of 4 talents (5 if you have a certain perk). New talents are unlocked through wing upgrades in the Base of Operations. Here is a full list of talents in The Division with descriptions and requirements.
Medical talents
Medical talents usually provide a bonus when the player uses medkits or healing skills under specific conditions. They can increase damage resistance, heal allies, reduce cooldowns, etc.- Adrenaline
When you use a medkit and don’t have full health, you get an overheal.
Requirement: Build Decontamination Unit in your Medical Wing. - Shock and Awe
If you suppress an enemy, you gain a 25% movement boost.
Requirement: Build Pharmacy in your Medical Wing. - Critical Save
Using a medkit when you have low health gives you a 40% damage resistance for 10 seconds.
Requirement: Build Counseling in your Medical Wing. - Combat Medic
When you use a medkit, nearby allies get healed 40%.
Requirement: Build Pediatric Care in your Medical Wing. - Strike Back
If you have low health, your skill cooldown will be reduced by 20%
Requirement: Build Pediatric Care in your Medical Wing. - Shrapnel
Use Bleed and there’s a 30% chance that it will affect enemies near the target as well.
Requirement: Build Counseling in your Medical Wing. - Battle Buddy
When you revive a friendly, both of you get 50% damage resistance.
Requirement: Build Pharmacy in your Medical Wing. - Triage
Use a skill to heal a buddy and get reduced cooldown for your other skills.
Requirement: Build Decontamination Unit in your Medical Wing.
Tech talents
Tech talents give you a bonus when you successfully perform evasive actions or kill an enemy using skills and explosions. They can grant you increased damage, boost your skill power, automatically refill your ammo, etc.- Tactical Advance
If you successfully roll from one cover to another, you get a damage bonus of 2% per meter traveled for 10 seconds.
Requirement: Build Central Heating in your Tech Wing. - Demolition Expert
Kill an enemy with an explosion and you will get an explosion damage bonus of 40%.
Requirement: Build Central Heating in your Tech Wing. - Police Up
When you use a skill to kill an enemy, you get a 25% chance to automatically refill all your ammo.
Requirement: Build SatComms in your Tech Wing. - Fear Tactics
Using shock on an enemy gives you a 30% chance that it will affect nearby enemies as well.
Requirement: Build SatComms in your Tech Wing. - Evasive Action
When you move from cover to cover, you take 30% less damage.
Requirement: Build Recalibration in your Tech Wing. - Tech Support
Kill an enemy with a skill and all your active skills will get a 10% duration bonus.
Requirement: Build Recalibration in your Tech Wing. - Wildfire
Use Burn on a target and there’s a 30% chance it will affect nearby targets, too.
Requirement: Build Recharge Center in your Tech Wing. - Death by Proxy
Destroy an enemy turret and your skill power will increase by 20% for 39 seconds.
Requirement: Build Recharge Center in your Tech Wing.
Security talents
Security talents grant you various bonuses if you manage to kill enemies with headshots, damage them with explosions or put them down using your sidearm. These benefits include reduced recoil and incoming damage, improved accuracy, extra ammo, etc.- Steady Hands
When you’re in a cover, your recoil is reduced by 25% for 10 seconds.
Requirement: Build Procurement Team in your Security Wing. - On the Move
If you kill an enemy while moving, your incoming damage will be reduced by 30%.
Requirement: Build Procurement Team in your Security Wing. - Precision
Shooting an enemy in the head will mark them for 10s
Requirement: Build Guard Post in your Security Wing. - Chain Reaction
Damaging multiple enemies with an explosion makes your blast 40% stronger.
Requirement: Build Guard Post in your Security Wing. - Desperate Times
Your blind fire accuracy will increase by 25% if you have low health.
Requirement: Build Shooting Range in your Security Wing. - Stopping Power
Supressing an enemy gives you 25% headshot damage bonus.
Requirement: Build Shooting Range in your Security Wing. - Repo Reaper
You get an extra magazine for your primary weapon if you kill an enemy with your sidearm.

When you hit an enemy in the head, there is a 50% chance you will not spend that bullet.
