So, what can you expect from the first episode of Division 2’s DLC? Well, for starters, there will be two new main missions, Camp White Oak and Manning National Zoo. The first episode will have you invading the presidential compound, and bring President Andrew Ellis to justice. In the second one, you’ll have to defeat Emeline Shaw, leader of the Outcasts, once and for all. There will also be new weapons and gear; specifically, the exotic Diamondback Rifle, exotic BTSU Datagloves, and Stoner LMG and Carbine 7, which are regular weapons. Also, two more Classified Assignments, in Washington’s Central Aquarium and NSA Site B13 (exclusive to Year 1 Pass holders).

Then, we’ve got a brand new experience coming, called Expeditions. You’ll be going to Kenly College, in search of a convoy of vital support that seems to have disappeared. The expeditions will be separated into three wings of the college. Each wing will have “a specific theme and tone”, and will be released on a week-by-week basis. Complete all three wings to receive your rewards in the exclusive treasure room.

The DLC will also feature some new features and improvements that the community requested. For example, the devs are introducing the Discovery difficulty for the Dark Hours raid. The rewards you get won’t be as great as on Normal difficulty, but it lets you train for your future, harder runs. There’s also crafting improvements; you’ll be able to craft gear up to Gear Score 500, share blueprints across characters, and also recalibrate crafted weapons. Also, there will be further updates to balance and buff skills as necessary.
