Diablo Immortal Spiteful Blood Legendary Gem

The July 2023 update for Diablo Immortal is here and it comes brimming with new content. And while new quests and events are awesome, by far the most exciting new thing is a brand new class. Say hello to the Blood Knight! And to celebrate the release of this sanguinary new archetype, Blizzard is also adding a “crimson-coated” Legendary Gem for all classes. This new Five-Star gem is called Spiteful Blood, and below, you can check its stats at the gem’s power Rank of 10:

“Taking damage while below 50% Life causes Spiteful Blood to surge through you for 4 seconds, increasing your damage done by 30% and making you invulnerable to Primary Attacks from other players. In addition, when Spiteful Blood triggers you gain an absorb shield equal to 160% of your base damage. Spiteful Blood cannot trigger more often than once every 20 seconds.”

Some players already speculate that this “completely breaks” Demon Hunters in PvP, but that’s yet to be tested. “4 seconds and might be reduced by 66%, but DH primary damage is only half their damage output per shot, the rest is DoTs, Windshear, impale, and vengeance, etc,” says Reddit user Varyael. What’s your opinion on the new Spiteful Blood Legendary Gem in Diablo Immortal? Do you find it broken and OP as well? Which class do you think will benefit the most from it?
