Stuck in a Dungeon in Diablo 4

Despite having several beta tests, it seems that Blizzard wasn’t able to fix all the issues and bugs in time for launch. Early access release has been plagued by all kinds of glitches, spanning from annoying to game-breaking. One that has been around since the very first beta is the “stuck inside a Dungeon” Diablo 4 glitch. Unfortunately, it’s back.

“It appears this is still happening. I am stuck inside the dungeon with the lift,” says Battle.net user HeadKilla. “I defeated the mother and headed to the lift to exit and it just takes me right back to the lift.” Other players report similar issue across various dungeons. The Eye of the Light, Stuck in Hallowed Ossuary, Beaconing Labyrinth, Light’s Watch, and many others.

Teleporting to any waypoints doesn’t work, neither using the “Leave Dungeon” option on the action wheel. Using the Town Portal by pressing T is also bugged. Even physically going all the way back to the exit will not let you out. Hence, the Diablo 4 “Stuck in Dungeon” issue needs to be patched out as soon as possible. Hopefully, Blizzard is aware of this problem and it’s working on a hotfix as we speak. Unfortunately, there are more alarming issues, they need to fix first, like the skills not working problem. In the meantime, if you know of any workarounds, please share them with us in the comments section!
