Diablo 4 Sorcerer Teleport Bug, Stuck in the Ground
The Diablo 4 Sorcerer Teleport bug is probably one of the more annoying issues currently in the game. And it has been in the game since the very first beta. Namely, players can teleport into the terrain, and the character will get stuck. Is there a way to fix this? Here’s what we know.
Diablo 4 Sorcerer Teleport Glitch, Stuck in the Terrain
The Diablo 4 Sorcerer Teleport bug has been in the game since the very first iteration of the game. We’re talking about the closed alpha back in the fall of 2022. The game has now been officially released, but it seems that the bug is still here. What happens is that Teleport is bugged on Sorcerer, and it will teleport you below the environment. And once your character is half into the ground, you will be unable to move. From that point, all you can do is use the Town Portal to get out.
Being forced to teleport back into the town is a rather annoying experience. And to make things worse, this is not some rare bug that doesn’t occur often. In fact, it happens fairly frequently. It seems that the bug primarily happens when your character changes ground level. It seems that the Sorcerer Teleport doesn’t take into account the vertical geometry of the terrain. And when you teleport around on Diablo 4 levels that have layers of terrain, you can get stuck into the ground.
Hence, the obvious temporary solution here is not to use Sorcerers Teleport in a way that changes your ground level. Try teleporting only on the same level until the issue is fixed. However, what’s strange is that, apparently, numerous players that use controllers report that they are not having these issues. Therefore, if you have a controller available, try playing with it until Blizzard fixes this issue. For now, that’s all we can say about the issue. If you know of any workaround, share it with us in the comments!
You can actually plug in a controler and teleport, that will let you out.
