The Forest Clearing location in Diablo 4 Season 1 is one of the very first Malignant Tunnels. That is a new type of dungeon with an abundance of Malignant Monsters. The first Season 1 quest “Burning from Within” will ask you to enter Forest Clearing. Sounds easy enough, you simply head northwest of Kyovashad. And eventually, you will stumble upon the entrance to Forest Clearing. However, it sounds easy, but for many players, this doesn’t work.

“Can’t enter forest clearing for first season mission,” says Reddit user _-MrGood-_. “Keeps loading and loading and kicks me out.” And many other players confirm having the same issue in that Reddit thread. Unfortunately, this is currently a widespread issue across all servers. The Diablo 4 servers overflow with players jumping in to try the new season content.

Given the sheer number of players currently playing the game, the experience is less than stable. Players report various issues with rubber banding, lagging, crashing, not being able to leave areas and other critical issues. And, as it stands right now, there is no workaround. The only solution we can give you is to wait a little bit. The servers will eventually stabilize, and we will most likely be able to play the game without any glaring issues.
