Diablo 4 Offline Mode
The release date for Diablo 4 is fast approaching. Players from all over the world – some of which have been Diablo fans since the first game came out in 1997 – are anxiously awaiting the day that they’ll be able to jump back into this dark world and once again take on the might of the demonic hordes. As the game isn’t out yet, there are many questions about how certain things about it are going to work. One of the most asked about questions is – whether there is a Diablo 4 offline mode or not. In this guide, we are going to see if D4 does have an offline mode or if you need to be online all the time to be able to play it.
Can You Play Diablo 4 in Offline Mode
Unfortunately – you won’t be able to play Diablo 4 in Offline Mode. It has been confirmed that the game requires that you have internet access 100% of the time to be able to play it. This is the same way that it worked in Diablo 3 and it is very unlikely that Blizzard is going to change this for any of their future games – including D4. Of course, it’s always possible that Blizzard is going to add an offline mode for Diablo 4 sometime in the future. However, the odds of this happening are very low. This means that we wouldn’t get our hopes up about this happening at all.
Blizzard are very committed to their games requiring an online connection at all times, and they have built them around this. We understand that this might be disappointing for you if you had your heart set on playing it offline, but there’s nothing to be done about this. On the plus side, while this is a multiplayer title, you’ll be able to play it in single-player mode.
