Where to Spend Murmuring Obols in Diablo 4
Murmuring Obols are used to purchase certain things from the Purveyor of Curiosities in Diablo IV. You can recognize this shop thanks to its bank icon on the map. There are several categories of items you can spend the Murmuring Obols on here. Either on weapons that your class can use, on armor, or on Whispering Keys. Later on, once you get to World Tier 3: Nightmare, you’ll even be able to get Sacred items from the Purveyor.
Now, let’s go over how this works for weapons and armor first. When you buy a weapon or armor piece using Murmuring Obols, you have a chance of getting a rare piece of gear this way. Note that this isn’t guaranteed, and is based on RNG. As for Whispering Keys, these are used to open Silent Chests. One Whispering Key costs 20 Murmuring Obols. We’d argue that the best use for Murmuring Obols is on Whispering Keys.
How to Get Murmuring Obols Diablo 4
As far as we can see, the only way to get Murmuring Obols in Diablo 4 is by completing various in-game events. Of course, it’s always possible that this may change later on.
