Diablo 4 Map not Loading Fix
If your map is not loading in the Diablo 4 Open Beta, you probably wonder if this issue can be fixed. The Diablo IV early access beta weekend is here! And while filled to the brim with exciting content, it also, unfortunately, comes packed with bugs and issues. Truth be told, that’s to be expected in the beta. Some players report that they currently can not proceed any further in the game’s open world because the map is not loading. Here’s what we know about it.

The Diablo 4 Beta is definitely not off to a great start due to a myriad of bugs, errors, and connection issues. However, not that we didn’t expect issues to appear. That’s what beta testing is for, to identify issues and stump them out. Among many other issues, some players report that the map stops loading at some point.
“Right now, I can only load through the first zone. After beating the wolves, I head towards the town as per campaign”, says Reddit user u/Pikachews. “But when I reach it, there’s nothing there. No NPC, nothing. I can’t react to anything and am stuck.” Unfortuuly, there are currently not many solutions for this issue.
Reddit user Grouch reports that this has happened to him twice and that he was able to fix it by rebooting the game both times. Hence, if this happens to you, try restarting the game and see if that helps. Alternatively, some players report that lowering the game’s display settings can also help with the issue. Apparently, your PC rig might be unable to load all the map elements on time, and that’s why you might be getting this bug.
