Can't Interact With Slain Villagers & Militia Corpses Diablo 4 S1

If you can’t interact with Slain Villager for the “Burning from Within” quest in Diablo 4 Season 1, you should know that many players are experiencing the same issue. The first Diablo IV season is here, and asides from a host of new features, it has also arrived with a myriad of bugs. They range from annoying to game-breaking. If you can’t interact with some Militia Corpses on the ground in Diablo 4 Season 1, here’s what we know about it.

Can’t Interact With Slain Villager & Militia Corpses in Diablo 4 Season 1

Asides from the general outrage regarding Season 1 changes and nerfs, another major negative at the start of Season 1 is all kinds of bugs. Players are unable to enter various areas, bumping into invisible walls, can’t claim battle pass rewards, and many other glitches. One such glitch comes in the form of not being able to interact with Slain Villagers and Militia Corpses in Diablo 4 Season 1. “I don’t know exactly what circumstances, but I can’t interact with some Slain Militia corpses, most of them near Events. When X is pressed, nothing happens,” says Battle.net user Serge. On Reddit, user Jzofop reports a similar issue. “Anyone else who started S1 unable to interact with slain villagers in the very first quest? The game is updated on PS5. I even closed the game & restarted PS5 & same thing. Press X & nothing happens.”

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there doesn’t seem to be a solution for this. Hence, the only thing we can do is to wait for the developers to fix the issue. However, for the “Burning from Within” quest, you don’t need to interact with it to complete the quest. That’s a silver lining in this situation currently.
