Devil May Cry Mission 1: Found, contains 6 Lost Souls to be collected. Within this mission you can collect three Lost Souls, during your first run-through of the game, while the next three you can collect upon receiving particular weapon or ability from missions that follow mission 1.

LOST SOUL no. 1
Required ability/weapon: Eryx (weapon, unlocked in mission 7)
Soon after a short cutscene where you meet Kat you will end up at a corner of a road where you need to go left in order to proceed mission. Turn right and you will notice a Red Crystal on the wall. The only way to destroy the crystal is by using a powerful fist weapon, Eryx, that you get during mission 7.

LOST SOUL no. 2
Required ability/weapon: none
Soon after a short cutscene where you meet Kat, the road will take you to this Lost Soul. It can be found on a window of a house you need to pass by in order to continue the mission.

LOST SOUL no. 3
Required ability/weapon: Ophion Angel Lift (ability, unlocked in mission 2)
After learning how to double jump onyo high platforms, you will end up in part of the Amusement park where you see a carousel. Jump down and keep going forward. At the end of the platform, looking at a distance, you can notice three blue circles in the air that you can grapple onto by using the Ophion Angel Lift ability from mission 2. On the final platform is where the 3rd lost soul can be found.

LOST SOUL no. 4
Required ability/weapon: none
Fourth Lost Soul is inside of a house. After the big mirror brakes and opens a new room with dolls hanging in the air,turn left after entering the room. In the corner of the room there will be an entrance to another room. You can find the lost soul inside, above the entrance.

After turning left, enter this room.

LOST SOUL no. 5
Required ability/weapon: none
Right from the entrance door that got opened after the mirror was broken is where Lost soul number 4 can be found. It is on the wall.

LOST SOUL no. 6
Required ability/weapon: Arbiter (weapon, unlocked in mission 2)
Again, going right from the door that got opened after the big mirror was broken, you will end up at a closed door that can be destroyed by using the Arbiter weapon you get in Mission 2.
