Destiny Urn of Sacrifice Guide
Once you complete The Wakening quest, you’ll be able to collect two new quests from Eris. One of them is Urn of Sacrifice that requires you to purchase Urn of Sacrifice item from Xur.
It costs 1 Strange Coin. Once you get the Urn, visit Eris and continue the storyline.
Kill 25 Thralls
In order to fill the Urn with burned ember you have to kill Thrall with Solar Fusion rifle. You can start The Dark Beyond moon mission on level 9 heroic difficulty and use Murmur with solar damage settings or Vex Mythoclast.Where to find Cursed Thralls
Your next objective is to kill 5 Cursed Thralls. You can finish this task in several different ways:-
Patrol the Cosmodrome and go to Skywatch. Get to the room were you first meet the hive (and kill that wizard to end the mission). Clear it. Back right corner has a lonely thrall, melee kill that one last. Now, it will spawn some regular thralls and cursed ones. Kill the normal ones, melee a cursed one, get back out to regen health. Ignore the knight.
More details for the room: Remember the first time you face a wizard? Head that direction. Just before you get to that room, you go up some stairs. Just before those stairs, you’re in a dark room where you need your ghost’s light on. - Chamber of Night mission on the moon has at least two cursed thrall for you to melee without fear of dying (you can do this mission as a very low level)
- Jump into the new Omnigul strike! (this is harder because exploding thrall there are of higher level)
Defeat hive acolytes and wizards with void damage
Your best choice is to start the Dark Beyond mission on the Moon for this task, because it has quick enemy respawn of about 15 acolytes per run (0 wizards). Telthor mission (Chamber of Night story mission on the Moon) can get you about 30 per run. You can also try The Summoning Pit strike.Kill Urzok
You’ll find Urzok during any Public event in Skywatch. It’s a very tough Knight ultra with a massive Arc shield. It’s better to find some help to take him down. I had him spawn while defending the Warsat.Ritual of sacrifice
When you return to Eris she will give you a special mission. Go to the Moon and complete Ritual of Sacrifice! Do this on hard and earn 5 Motes of light! Ritual of Sacrifice happens in a familiar setting, but the end event is full of enemies with Malgor the forsaken Ogre being the last boss. Avoid green circles on the ground and run around as much as you can while killing enemies. IT was a challenge even as a level 31 so if you are having a lot of trouble try doing the lvl 25 version of the mission.Reward
Last step of this long quest chain requires you to visit Xur again. He will reward you with legendary piece of armor with +33 light stat on it (so it is one of the armor pieces that will get you to lvl 31 that you do not have to get from vanguard or crucible marks). This is a solo friendly way of getting new armor.Source our own experience and reddit
