Destiny 2 System Positioning Device - Lumina Chest Locations

System positioning device is a quest item in Destiny 2. You’ll get it along with a quest which is part of the Lumina exotic hand cannon chain. The item will point you towards a lost sector, in which you’ll have to look for a hidden chest. Every hour, the lost sector in question changes. The chest will give you the Rose legendary weapon, which allows you to proceed with the exotic quest. If you’re having trouble finding it, this guide will show you all the Destiny 2 system positioning device chest locations.

Shaft 13 EDZ Lumina chest

To get to the chest in Shaft 13, you’ll first have to land at The Sludge. The entrance is south of the landing point. Head inside and follow the corridors until you reach a long hallway with a couple of tires and some wooden pallets. Go through the door on the right, into the room with the yellow generator. You’ll find the chest on the table there. Here’s a video, if that’s more to your liking.

Excavation Site 2 Io system positioning device

Land at Giant’s Scar and head east. Once you’re in the lost sector, follow the tunnels until you’re in the room with the glowing cylindric canisters. You’ll find the chest by the wall on the other side of the room, under the big window. We also have a video guide.

Spine of Keres Lumina chest location

Spawn at the Divalian Mists and head towards the observatory. Once you’re in front of it, turn left and follow the path until you reach the scene from the picture. Jump onto the rocks on the left and climb up one level. You’ll find the chest next to the crooked tree. It might be easier to find if you follow the video.

Sinking Docks Titan system positioning device

To get the one on Titan, you should spawn at the Siren’s Watch landing. Go to the western platform via the tunnels. Once you’re out in the open again, drop down the broken stairs and head along the path. The chest will be on the right after the first enemy encounter. High Plains Lumina chest – Tangled Shore

This one’s a bit tricky, as it requires you to go to an area that isn’t on the map. Spawn at Thieves’ Landing and head east into Four Horn Gulch. There’s a tunnel in the south that will lead you to the High Plains. As you exit it, go past the tents, towards the giant rib cage. Past that, you’ll end up before a cluster of floating platforms. Look for the chest on a ledge on one of them. Here’s a video showing the exact route you need to take.

Alton Dynamo system positioning device chest on Mars

Land at Braytech Futurescapes and head on over to Alton Dynamo. As soon as you enter the cave, you’ll see an illuminated door. Go through it and turn left. When you enter the big chamber, immediately look up and to the right. You’ll see a vent above the pipes. Go through it, and you’ll find the chest in the room you end up in.
