How to Select Legendary Campaign in Destiny 2 Lightfall
In our How to select Destiny 2 Lightfall Legendary Campaign guide, we will show you how to begin the new campaign on Legendary difficulty. Some of you might not be able to find it initially, but don’t worry, we’re here to help. Here’s what you need to do.
How to Start Lightfall Legendary Campaign in Destiny 2
To start the Lightfall campaign on Legendary in Destiny 2, you first have to start the mission called “First Contact.” Only after the timer runs out will you get the choice between “Be Brave,” which is the standard difficulty, and “Become Legend,” which is for seasoned Guardians only. You can make this choice regardless of whether you hop straight into the new content or decide to goof around the Tower first. I’ve seen people worry that they’ve lost the chance to play Lightfall on Legendary because they haven’t begun “First Contact” as soon as they came in. That’s fortunately not the case at all. It’s just that you have to launch the mission before you get to pick the difficulty.
And there you have it, that’s how you start the Lightfall legendary Campaign in Destiny 2. Now, if the game doesn’t give you the choice of difficulty when it’s supposed to, then that’s a whole different can of worms. That can only mean that you’ve encountered some kind of weird bug, and it’s probably best to contact Bungie’s support and hope for the best. Restarting the game and/or the client you’re playing it on is the only bit of advice I can give you. If you need help with something else in Lightfall, check out some of our other guides.
