Destiny 2 Seraph Tower Public Event - How to Complete
Seraph tower is a new public event in Destiny 2. It’s part of the new season’s story line, and it’s rather impenetrable for a lot of folks. There’s a central tower that doesn’t move, other towers that pop up and disappear around it, a percentage counter that doesn’t go up and a timer that does go down. It’s not a pretty sight. If you’re confused by this new activity, this guide will show you how to complete Seraph Tower public event in Destiny 2.
How does the Seraph tower public event work?
The big, immovable tower is the eponymous Seraph Tower – the one you’re supposed to power. In order to do this, you’ll have to defend the smaller towers that pop up all around the place. When you successfully defend one, it’ll drop eight orbs – throw them all at the glowing orb gliding between the two towers on a beam of light, and it’ll move towards the central tower. If your defense is anything less than stellar, you’ll only get two orbs.
This means all your efforts have to be concentrated on defending the pulsing towers that pop up, and only once they start disappearing can you start dunking the orbs into the beam. There’s a bunker upgrade you can buy from the Rasputin emissaries that allows you to spawn a Valkyrie spear during the event. Get it as soon as possible, since this fancy-pants cannon can easily turn the tides of battle.
If you manage to get it to 100%, two bosses will spawn. Defeat them both, and you’ll get an additional chest. Unlike the regular chest, this one requires an Encrypted Warmind Bit be used a key. If you have one, you’ll get more basic Warmind Bits, but there’s also the possibility of nice loot, like legendary armor and weapon mods.
