Destiny 2 Nascent Dawn 3/5 - Escalation Protocol Waves & Sleeper Node
Nascent Dawn 3/5 is a quest in Destiny 2. It’s the latest in Anna Bray’s chain, which everyone presumes will end with getting a Polaris Lance exotic weapon. This week’s quest requires a lot of grinding, some planning and preparation, and looking for help outside the game. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to finish Destiny 2 Nascent Dawn 3/5 quest.
How to clear Escalation Protocol waves?
The first step requires you to clear ten Escalation Protocol waves. The wording is a bit off – it’s levels, not waves. A considerable number of players have complained that waves they defeated didn’t count. You’ll have to clear a whole level, including the boss at the end of it, for it to count towards the quest’s completion. That being said, the upside is that you can just play through level 1 ten times. We suggest taking a look at one of the many LFG sites – bigger crews will have better chances of succeeding. If you’re a high enough power level, and you get enough people on board, you can try to slog through the entire seven levels – some players report this cleared the step for them, which would mean some levels are valued higher than others.
Complete vanguard strikes
The second step requires you to beat 3 strikes. This should be easy enough, especially after the torture that is EP. The good news is that you aren’t limited in any way here – you can do regular strikes, heroic and even nightfall.
Nascent Dawn 3/5 sleeper node location
The last step involves finding a secret sleeper node, one that isn’t a part of the original 40. It’s in Olympus Descent, on the snowy cliffs where you first drop on Mars. Travel to Glacial Drift, follow the tunnel back until you’re out in the open, go past the warsat and up the cliff.
You’ll have to jump down on a tiny ledge, then turn right and slowly peek over the edge. There will be anoter, even smaller ledge down there, and the sleeper node will be floating above it. Jump down and activate it, then teleport away.
