Destiny 2 Forsaken Blind Well Activity - How to Complete
Blind Well is an activity in Destiny 2 Forsaken. It’s a fairly difficult mission to complete, but the rewards are absolutely worth it. Plus, it’s connected tightly to the Plaguebreaker bounty, and also to the Audience with the Queen bounty. However, activating the Blind Well activity in Destiny 2 is a task in itself, and also, there are enemies like Servants of the Plague that have little tricks to defeating them with buffs. So, with that in mind, here’s our guide on how to complete Destiny 2 Forsaken Blind Well, how to defeat the Servants of the Plague, etc.
How to Start Blind Well in Destiny 2 Forsaken?
To start the Blind Well activity in Destiny 2 Forsaken, you need to get a Charge of Light – Tier 1. This is a fairly easy item to get. You can complete public events and lost sectors, open region chests in Dreaming City, or purchase them directly off of Petra Venj for Dark Fragments. It’s not very likely that you’ll have to buy the Charge of Light, though; they’re fairly easy to get.
After you have a Charge of Light, head over to the Blind Well area, which is between Rheasilvia and The Strand. Keep in mind that you will need a fireteam to complete the Blind Well, because even Tier 1 is incredibly difficult to solo. Hop down to the base of the central, brain-like pillar, and deposit the Charge of Light. This is will begin the Blind Well activity.
From there, you’ll have to defeat several waves of enemies, before you get to the final boss. They will appear in different zones of the area, meaning you’ll have to step outside the bubble that grants you the Touch the Sky buff. It lasts for a couple of seconds, but you’ll eventually get a debuff that slowly takes off your health. So, make sure to travel between the wells as quickly as possible. And, if you ever step outside, always keep your eye on how much Touch The Sky you have left.
How to Beat Servant of the Plague & Boss in Blind Well?
In order to beat the Servant of the Plague enemy in Blind Well, you first have to bring down its shield. To do this, you have to defeat the enemies called The Anathema. They drop a buff called Harmony, which allows you to deal damage to the shield, once you pick it up. Harmony also grants you very fast ability recharge, so that’s also something to keep in mind and play around with.
Eventually, the shield will go down, so the entire team can focus their fire on the Servant of the Plague. The Servant of the Plague is basically a mini-boss inside every enemy wave, so, of course, they are more difficult to bring down. Of course, there will be other adds to deal with while all of this is happening, so somebody is going to have to be on crowd control. This especially counts if the shield is still up. If you don’t have the Harmony buff, avoid facing the Servants, you can’t do anything. Focus on the other enemies instead.
This same method is how you defeat the final boss of Blind Well Tier 1, the Herald of the Plague (and, indeed, the bosses of Tier 2). Kill Anathemas, pick up Harmony, and blast the boss’s shield. When the shield is down, gang up on it to bring it down. When the boss spawns, the deadly mist will dissipate, allowing you freedom of movement, so things get slightly easier, because you can dodge and weave as necessary. Once again, if you don’t have Harmony, and you don’t have Harmony, leave the boss alone, and focus on the adds.
Blind Well Tier 2 & Tier 3 – How to Get Charge of Light
To get Charge of Light Tier 2, you have to complete Tier 1. As with any activity in Destiny 2, finishing it will reward you with a bunch of loot. You’re very likely get a Tier 1 Charge of Light in there, but odds are, you’ll also get the Charge of Light Tier 2. From there, you’re free to start Blind Well Tier 2, if you have it in you. You can also come back and do it later, of course, if the activity took too much out of you. Completing Tier 2 will, of course, reward you with even more loot, and that, in turn, has a chance to drop you Charge of Light Tier 3. So, if you have the means, you can basically battle your way through the three tiers in one go.
