Destiny 2 Rite of Dawning Quest
The Rite of Dawning Quest is part of Destiny 2 and its holiday event, the Dawning 2021. It involves locating several ingredients, baking cookies, and delivering gifts. Of course, it is never that easy and you have to defeat a slew of enemies on the way. You can get the quest by visiting Eva in the tower and then speaking to Zavala. Rite of Dawning Quest Destiny 2
The Rite of Dawning quest can be broken down into a series of easy to complete steps. Follow them in the correct order to claim your rewards. These can include everything from a Malibeaux Bronze Shader to a From the Ashes Emblem.
Step 1 – Find the Red Legion Data Pad
Head to Firebase Hades. The datapad should be on the western wall of the area. It is next to some gigantic Munitions.
Step 2 – Find the Ceremonial Cup & Ritual Schematics
The next step is to find the Torobatl Ceremonial Cup. It is hiding in the Pathfinders Crash lost sector. It will reside near the entrance to the Winding Cove, on the far side near the eastern ridge. You can get the ritual schematics by killing cabal enemies. They have a high spawn rate, and you will need 25 x of them.
Step 3 – Find the Vestments
In the EDZ there is an Arms Dealer Strike. This final chest will give you the Torobatl Ceremonial Vestments. Complete the strike to get the chest and unlock it.
Step 4 – Bake and Deliver Dark Chocolate Motes
The next step is to bake some Dark Chocolate Motes. For this, you will need Taken Butter and Null Taste. This requires some work in itself. Visit our guide on Taken Butter here or use our guide on how to acquire Null Taste. When you have the ingredients head to the holiday oven to bake them and deliver them to the Drifter in Tower Annex. He should give you his bottle of Torobatlian Red.
Step 5 – Return to Zavala
Head back and speak to Zavala. When done, complete the Proving Grounds strike, loading directly into it from the Nessus Map. Once completed return to Zavala once again. You then need to visit Eva to compete the quest.
