Dawning Cheer Sparrow – How to Get Event Reward

How to get Dawning Cheer sparrow?

First of all, you’ll need to complete the Red War campaign. The vendor that handles Christmas only appears in the Tower, so you need to unlock that. She’ll spawn at the Bazaar, near Ikora. Her name is Eva Levante. Go talk to her and she’ll give you an oven and some ingredients, instructing you to bake a cookie for Zavala. Yes, it’s silly.

Once you’ve given Zavala his cookie, return to her and she’ll give you the exotic quest item that tracks your progress towards the Dawning Cheer sparrow. The biggest issue is that you’ll have to bake twelve gifts in total. Thankfully, even Zavala’s cookie counts. This means you’ll have to grind a whole lot in order to get the Essence of Dawning, as well as the common and rare materials required.

The other part of the quest includes baking specific sweets for specific people. You’ll need to give Lord Shaxx some Vanilla Blades, then bake some Chocolate Ship Cookies for Amanda Holliday, and finally give some Eliksni Birdseed to Suraya Hawthorne. If you need the specifics (and you probably will), check out our Dawning cookie recipes guide. You’ll probably have trouble with the materials, too, but we’ve written about Dawning cookie ingredients and how to get them as well.

And that’s it. Once you’ve got your fancy new sparrow, you’ll probably want to get at least one of the mods as well, but that’s a whole other issue.
