Combustor Valus Location - Destiny 2 Wanted Bounty
Combustor Valus is one of the weekly bounties you can take from Spider in Destiny 2 Forsaken. It’s quite different from the other Wanted bounties, since you won’t have any trouble finding the target, but eliminating it might prove to be a bigger issues than you’d expect. This guide is going to show you how to easily beat Destiny 2 Combustor Valus.
How to defeat Combustor Valus?
Once you pick up the bounty, it will add a new adventure to your director. Open up the map of Mercury and you’ll see it. Go there and start the adventure, then follow the markers into the Pariah’s Refuge lost sector. Once you get to the main chamber, you’ll immediately notice the familiar Cabal bubble shield.
As you clear the bunch of enemies and several mini-bosses in the area, you’ll notice one enemy isn’t even considering leaving the bubble. That’s Combustor Valus. The bubble stops projectiles from entering or leaving, which means neither of you will be able to hurt the other until you’re both on the same side of the bubble. He won’t leave, so it’s up to you to get inside.
The key here is persistence and caution. If you’re not in a group and have less than the recommended 540 light, it’s going to be a struggle. Your best bet is to jump in for a second or two, shoot him a couple of times, then jump out. The problem arises when he starts putting up shields. In order to break through these, you’ll have to maximize the use of your grenades and super. It would be great if you could equip something that could decrease the cooldowns for any of those.
Don’t stay in the bubble too long, and clear out any adds as soon as they appear. It’ll take a while, but you’ll wear him down in the end.
