Deathloop 0451 Code - You Know the Code

The Deathloop 0451 code Easter egg also unlocks the Old Habits Die Hard trophy, and you can get it as soon as you reach the “You know the code” door. By that, I mean the door with those words above it, which you encounter very early in the game. It’s one of the easiest and earliest trophies you can get, and it’s a neat reference if you know the backstory. So, in our Deathloop 0451 Code – You Know the Code guide, we’ll show you how to get the Old Habits Die Hard trophy, what it’s a reference to, and how to actually unlock the door.

You Know the Code – Deathloop 0451 Code Easter Egg

The Deathloop 0451 code Easter egg is a little surprise you can find very early in the game, at the “You know the code” door, and unlocks the Old Habits Die Hard trophy, one of the first ones you can get. All you need to know is interact with the keypad that’s next to the door that has the words “You know the code” above it and type in 0451. It won’t unlock the door (more on that in a bit), but you will get the trophy. Note that you can do this at any keypad you encounter as late as you want, but might as well get it over with at the start.

For those of you that don’t get why this is an Easter egg, let me get you up to speed. The origin of this meme can be found in many Looking Glass and Ion Storm games. They would put in the code 0451 as an in-joke, because it was the key-code to get into the Looking Glass offices in Cambridge. So, the Deathloop 0451 code that you can enter at the “You know the code” door is a reference to that. You can find this Easter egg in System Shock 1 and 2, Thief, Dishonored, Bioshock, and many other games.

Now, as for finding the code for the door itself, I can’t explain how you get it without going into spoilers. I’m gonna need you to trust me on this – just continue on your mission down the only path that’s available to you. You will get the code eventually; there’s no way you’ll miss it. Good luck.
