If you’ve been wanting to play Dead Rising 4, but weren’t able to because of its Windows exclusivity, it’s your lucky day. You can now get the fourth part in Capcom’s other zombie franchise on Steam. The game originally came out on December 6th for the Xbox One and the Windows 10 app store. While the game sold well enough, the wider availability will certainly do it good; maybe even provide a fresh fan base.

Dead Rising 4 got fairly good reviews, but didn’t do that well with the core fan base. The game did away with some defining gameplay mechanics that were dear to the fans, such as the timer. There was also a lot of controversy around Capcom replacing Terence J. Rotolo as the voice of Frank West, which became a part of the much larger issue of voice actors in gaming. When we take all of that into account, an influx of new players might do wonders for Dead Rising 4, maybe even as a stepping stone for newcomers to the franchise.

The base game costs the standard $60 on Steam. You can get the Deluxe Edition bundle for $79.98, which includes the $20 Season Pass. If you want to know whether or not your setup can take it, you can check out the minimum and recommended system requirements for Dead Rising 4 below.
