Area: Catacombs of Carthus The Closest Bonfire: Abandoned Tomb
To find the Catacombs of Carthus secret area, you’ll have to destroy the long hanging bridge near High Lord Wolnir. Once it is destroyed, you can use it to get down, as it will now serve as a ladder.
The next big room you’ll stumble upon will be defended by a large Demon. On the other side of the room is a passage that leads to the Abandoned Tomb bonfire.
From the Abandoned Tomb Bonfire, a path leads to the Smouldering Lake area. Before going left toward this area, turn right into the dead end. This dead end is home to the Witch’s Ring and Old Sage’s Blindfold.
Destroy the bridge to uncover a hidden area.
Behind the Demon is the path to the Abandoned Tomb Bonfire.
In the next hallway after the bonfire turn right and go for the Witch’s Ring.
Witch’s Ring Description & Stats
Description: The Witch of Izalith and her daughters, scorched by the Flame of Chaos, taught humans the art of Pyromancy and offered them this ring. Greatly boosts pyromancies. Every pyromancer is familiar with the parable that tells of the witches espousing the need to fear the flame, and teaching the art of pyromancy to men in hopes that they might learn to control it.
