The soul can be obtained by defeating the boss in the High Wall of Lothric area, a deformed knight with a giant mace, walking on all fours. Once he drops the soul, you can use it right away to get a large amount of souls. We advise against this – it might be a lot in the early game, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s nothing. Keeping it will allow you to craft truly unique items.

Vordt Souls Items
