Ringed City Archers - How to get past orange ghosts in Dark Souls 3 DLC

Ringed City archers are a group of enemies in Dark Souls 3 DLC. They’re orange ghosts, summoned by a giant Judicator, which will cause you a lot of trouble. You can get past them, and if you kill the Judicator, they’ll simply disappear. How to get past bronze archers in Ringed City

Once you go down the steps, the archers will start spawning. They’ll shoot three barrages of arrows, one after the other. Afterwards, they’ll disappear for a short while. The best way to get past them is:

1. Run behind the first bunch of gravestones on the right.
2. Wait for the third barrage to finish.
3. Run into the middle of the second bunch of gravestones on the right.
4. Wait for the third barrage to finish.
5. Jump off the circular terrace, onto the ledge below.

Once you’re on the ledge, simply follow it to the ladder and climb up. Take cover behind the gravestones. If you just want to get past the illusory archers, wait for the shooting to stop, then run up the stairs on the right, make a sharp turn right and run down the other set of stairs.

If you want to kill the Judicator, you can either snipe him with the Dragonslayer Greatbow while in cover, or you can run up to him and start wacking away. He’ll spawn a hammer-wielding knight at one point, so you better be sure you can do a lot of damage fast. Once he’s dead, the archers will disappear. You’ll be able to return to the bridge and pick up any items you find (there are quite a few).
