Where to find Havel’s Ring

Area: Road of Sacrifices
The Closest Bonfire: Old Wolf of Farron
How to: You have to find and kill Stray Demon, collect its soul and trade for the ring with Ludleth at Firelink Shrine.

1. Turn right from the doors that lead to the Abyss Watchers boss fight, go past the tower and find the long ladder. Use this ladder to find the Old Wolf of Farron Bonfire.
2. Next to the Old Wolf of Farron Bonfire is the elevator that takes you up. This is where you can find the Stray Demon.
3. Kill the Stray Demon and head to Firelink Shrine to see Ludleth. He can exchange the Stray Demon’s Soul for the ring or the Boulder Heave. Check out our All Boss Soul Items Guide for a comprehensive list of all items you can buy from Ludleth.

Havel’s Ring Description & Stats

Description:
A ring for warriors keen on heavy accoutrements. Increases maximum equip load.
This ring was named after Havel the Rock, the battlefield compatriot of Gwyn, the First Lord.
The art of war has been a constant since ages past, and those who would follow in Havel’s footsteps are no fewer now than in his own day.

This is a 1.5 weight ring that increases your maximum load by 15%. It can help you wear heavy armor and still maintain some speed while rolling. It’s not going to help much if you haven’t been investing in Vigor at all, though. The more you have, the better it’s going to work.
