How to get Grass Crest Shield
The shield can be found in Farron’s Keep. Teleport to the bonfire where you meet Anri of Astora, the one in the large ruined building after the canyons. Follow the winding path down the hill. Once you hit the swamp, just keep going forward. You’ll see a giant crab through the trees. Look for a dead body propped against a tree and loot the shield off it.

Description: Old medium metal shield of unknown origin. The grass crest is lightly imbued with magic, which slightly speeds stamina recovery.
Skill: Parry
The GCS doesn’t offer amazing protection by any means. The selling point of this item is its power to speed up the recovery of stamina. It even works when you’re using your weapon in both hands, shield on your back. It may not be the best choice if you want a shield that can protect you, but it does parry. The only thing you need to use it is 10 STR.
The effect stacks with that of the Chloranthy Ring, which allows for really swift stamina recovery. One or both have been nerfed compared to previous games, so don’t expect lightning fast regeneration, though.
