Covenant Locations & Rewards | Dark Souls 3
Covenants are sacred contracts in Dark Souls 3. Joining a covenant makes you part of a group – you promise to obey certain rules in exchange for rewards.
Different covenants give out different rewards when ranking up. This guide will show you how to join covenants in Dark Souls 3, where to find them and which rewards you get for ranking up.
How to get: Talk to High Priestess Emma, in the room across the courtyard from the Vordt boss fight.
Goal: Automatically summons Blue Sentinels to help you when you’re being invaded.
Ranking items: None
Ranking requirements: None
Rewards: None
How to get: Go down the stairs past the pyre in the middle of the village. Pass under the arch and go through the wooden door. Jump through a hole in the floor.
Goal: Help others defeat bosses to gain ranking items.
Ranking items: Sunlight Medal
Ranking requirements: 10 SM for +1, 30 SM for +2 (place at Sunlight Altar in Lothric Castle)
Rewards: Sacred Oath miracle at +1, Great Lightning Spear miracle at +2
How to get: Go across the bridge right of the pyre. Go around the house (to the right), and climb the farthest building using a ladder. Jump off to the right, and get behind the enemy with the cage on his back. Once you’re close enough, examine him. If you’ve already killed the Curse-Rotted Greatwood, you’ll have to kill three Lords of Cinder, then go to the room before the Cursewood fight and summon Sirris.
Goal: Be summoned by others to help them (except on boss fights) or invade. You’ll gain ranking items for killing other phantoms or your host.
Ranking items: Vertebrae Shackle
Ranking requirements: 10 VS for +1, 30 VS for +2 (place at Sacrificial Altar, below Greatwood arena)
Rewards: Bloodlust katana at +1, Warmth pyromancy at +2
How to get: Talk to Anri & Horace at the Halfway Fortress bonfire.
Goal: Be automatically summoned to defend Way of Blue players. Get ranking items for defeating invaders.
Ranking items: Proof of Concord Kept
Ranking requirements: 10 PoCK for +1, 30 PoCK for +2 (given to Yorshka in Anor Londo)
Rewards: Darkmoon Ring at +1, Darkmoon Blade at +2
How to get: Spawn at the Keep Ruins bonfire, go outside and to the right. Climb the ladder up to the tower and pray to the Old Wolf of Farron.
Goal: Be automatically summoned to attack players in this area. Defeat them to get ranking items.
Ranking items: Wolf’s Blood Swordgrass
Ranking requirements: 10 WBS for +1, 30 WBS for +2 (given to Old Wolf)
Rewards: Old Wolf Curved Sword at +1, Wolf Ring & Wolf Knight’s Greatshield at +2

Goal: Invade others and defeat them to get ranking items.
Ranking items: Pale Tongues
Ranking requirements: 10 PT for +1, 30 PT for +2 (given to Rosaria)
Rewards: Obscuring Ring at +1, Man-Grub’s Staff at +2
How to get: After you exit Pontiff Sulyvahn‘s arena, cross the courtayrd and climb the steps. Enter the building and hit the wall on your left. It will disappear. Descend the ladder, defeat the two giant monsters and talk to Archdeacon McDonnell
Goal: Be automatically summoned to attack other players in the area.
Ranking items: Human Dregs
Ranking requirements: 10 HD for +1, 30 HD for +2 (given to McDonnell)
Rewards: Great Deep Soul sorcery at +1, Archdeacon’s Great Staff at +2
How to get: You need to get the gesture from Sirris first. Lower the rotating bridge in Anor Londo, then walk off the upper exit. There’s an invisible path there. Follow it to the tower and talk to Yorshka.
Goal: The same as Blue Sentinels – automatically defend Way of Blue players from invaders.br /> Ranking items: Proof of Concord Kept

Way of The Blue
