Where to find Broadsword
Area: High Wall of Lothric The Closest Bonfire: Tower on the Wall
From the second High Wall of Lotrhic bonfire – Tower on the Wall – head one floor down.
Leave the tower and head to the nearby rooftops. Find a ladder that will take you down in the far right corner of the roof.
As soon as you go down the ladder, enter the room to your left.
Continue forward and enter a small hallway guarded by a knight. At the start of this hallway there is a small room to your left with another enemy. This room is where the Broadsword is hidden. You have to destroy the barrels to get to it.
Follow the rooftops and find the ladder to go down.
Head to the hallway and turn left.
Inside the room to your left should be the Broadsword.
Broadsword Description & Stats
Description: A straight sword with a broad blade designed for slashing. A large sweeping attack makes this effective against crowds, but is prone to deflection from walls in narrow spaces. Skill: Stance. While in stance, use normal attack to break a foe’s guard from below, and strong attack to slash upwards with a forward lunge.
This is a great sword, as it’s fast and its frontal swings cover a wide area. The stance skill works like a charm against enemies with shields. It scales greatly with strength and so-so with dexterity. If you somehow missed it during your first playthrough and you’ve liked the playstyle of the straight swords like the Irithyll Straight Sword, then this is one to look out for.
