Ashes of Ariandel Release Date | Dark Souls 3
Ashes of Ariandel is going to be the first DLC for Dark Souls 3. It’s going to be released in a couple of months, and it’s going to let players explore a completely new area, filled with new enemies and weapons to acquire.
The DLC is going to be released on October 25th.
The story is going to take place in the frosty world of Ariandel. Fans are already beginning to draw connections between it, and Ariamis, a location from the first game. Neither the publisher nor the developer have confirmed these, so there might be nothing to it.
What we know for sure is that it’s going to be snowy, with a bunch of new enemies, weapons and surely a couple of bosses as well (although nothing has been said about them). And of course, new armor, because everyone knows that fashion is the true end game. That antler helmet is going to look fabulous with the Drang armor.
You can expect new spells as well – one that was shown off in the announcement trailer is like a boomerang. It cuts through enemies, then turns back and returns to you, damaging anyone still in the way. As far as enemies are concerned, we’ve seen a pretty large man of the mountain, with a giant shield and axe. Also, wolves, because dogs weren’t frustrating enough.
The trailer is also full of snippets of story, that don’t make any sense whatsoever at this point. They’re probably going to appear a lot more meaningful once more is revealed. For now, though, we can only guess.

It will come out on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One, with a price tag of $15. If you buy the season pass for $25, you’ll get the second, secret DLC as well (this one is supposed to come out in 2017).
