Aldrich, Devourer of Gods | Dark Souls 3
Aldrich, Devourer of Gods is a boss you’ll have to kill in Dark Souls 3, as he is one of the cinder lords. He can be found at the end of Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, within the Anor Londo area.
Area: Irythill of the Boreal Valley
The closest bonfire: Anor Londo
Basic Rewards: Cinders of a Lord, Soul of Aldrich, 50,000 souls
Aldrich is a rather straightforward boss. He has simple abilities that do devastating damage but are predictable and easily avoidable. The two main abilities you want to avoid are the rain of arrows and magic bolt. The Rain of Arrows attack comes once Aldrich shoots an arrow into the air. In the first phase, a wave of arrows comes rushing toward the player in a cone. In the second phase, a thick line of arrows follows the player. The magic bolt attacks comes right after Aldrich charges his weapon with an essence. This is a fast attack that you should avoid at all costs.
You have to be aggressive with him. Standing far away is probably the worst idea. Try to get near him at any given opportunity. The key to winning is managing your stamina consumption and reacting to the rain of arrows and magic bolt attacks accordingly. Other attacks are easily avoidable and shouldn’t cause any problems, although they also do moderate amounts of damage.
Once you kill him, you’ll unlock the area above him, where Gwynevere’s room and the Sun Princess Ring are.

Aldrich Attack List
Phase 1- Relocating – From time to time, the boss will do shadow damage arround it and disappear. Shortly after, it will show up in a distant part of the room.
- Weapon swing – Aldrich rises up and swings his weapon.
- Valley of arrow bolts (can happen while far away)- Comes in waves out of the boss in the player’s direction. Dodge by moving away from it or stepping around it.
- Magic missile – Does it if you are father away: charges while facing you, shoots out two projectiles. Dodge or block it at all cost. Once hit by them, you’ll get knocked back.
- Homming missiles – A lot of small sparkles go out of the boss and are hurled toward you. You can dodge them if you keep moving to the side.
- All Phase 1 attacks get more frequent and do more damage.
- Path of arrow bolts – Unlike the first phase, arrows come in a thick line toward the player and follow him for a while.
how did you summon orbeck?
I’ve completed Orbecks questline as far as this page suggested, no summon sign anywhere. Fextralife wiki makes no mention of him being summonable to here. Orbeck cannot be summoned to the Aldritch fight, inaccurate information. I guess there just isn’t any offline summons for this fight?
