In Cyberpunk Jackie is one of the most lovable characters and you will wonder can you save Jackie during the Heist quest. Saving Jackie comes down to choosing where to send Jackie remains. The question is posed by Delamain, the AI driver. You have several options of where to send Jackie’s body, and you might wonder if you can save Jackie by sending him to Vik Vektor’s clinic, or Jackie’s family. The consequences of this choice are kind of serious, especially if you want to get Jackie’s Arch Nazare motorcycle. With all that said, here’s our Cyberpunk 2077 Jackieremains in the Heist quest guide to help you make the correct choice.

Cyberpunk Can you Save Jackie?

As you’ve probably experienced by now the main mission called the Heist at the beginning of the game goes awry and there is no possible way for you to save Jackie. We played through multiple choices before, during and at the end of the Heist quest and it always plays out the same. The only choice you will have to make is where to take Jackie’s remains. We don’t want to go much into end game spoilers, but … Choosing where his remains go can have an impact on small pieces of story with Jackie at the end of the game. But, saving Jackie in the traditional sense is not possible I’m afraid. We miss the big lug too 🙁

Where to Send Jackie

The choice of where to send the remains of Jackie Wells in Cyberpunk 2077 comes at the tail end of The Heist quest. The car’s AI, Delamain, asks you where you want to send the body. It’s free of charge, which is nice. Your options are as follows:

• Nowhere. Wait for me here.
• Take him home, to his family.
• Take him to Vik Vektor’s clinic.
• Just… give me a minute.

The fourth option doesn’t matter, so we’ll ignore that. The first choice is the same as sending Jackie’s remains to his family. So, the choice really boils down to whether Jackie goes to his family or Vik.

Take him to Vik Vektor’s clinic choice consequences

If you send Jackie Welles’s remains to Vik’s clinic, you’ll later get a text from Delamain telling you that he delivered the body. Without any spoilers, the consequences of this choice are that you will get a key to Jackie’s motorbike. There is a hint of a future mystery that will resolve itself at the very end of the game. For those of you that want to know more of the story behind this choice read on. The rest be warned that minor spoilers are incoming.

If you send Jackie’s remains to Viktor know that ‘Saka goons will take it away from him. Mamma Welles will contact you and you get a package containing Jackie’s bike keys. The sad thing is that Mamma Welles will be very distressed by the fact she can’t bury her son. However, Jackie gets mentioned (without going into full blown spoilers) at the end of the game. There is extra dialogue and scenes you can experience throughout the game’s main story quests.

Take him home, to his family choice consequences

If, on the other hand, you decide to send Jackie Welles to his family in Cyberpunk 2077, his mom will hold a lovely wake for him, with an elaborate ofrenda. This will all take place as part of the quest called Heroes (named after a David Bowie song). Seems like the most befitting choice to me, personally. You still get the keys to the Arch Nazare, but in a more appropriate fashion. You will also get access to Jackie’s pistol La Chingona Dorada, which lays on the table with the rest of the offerings. So, if you ask us, you should send Jackie’s body to mama Welles. Ultimately, of course, the choice is up to you.

How to Get Jackie’s Arch Nazare Motorcycle in Cyberpunk 2077?

To get Jackie’s Arch Nazare motorcycle in Cyberpunk 2077, after you send Jackie’s remains to his family, play through the game until mama Welles sends you a text. Give her a call to start the Heroes quest. She’ll tell you about her plans to make an ofrenda and celebrate Jackie’s life at El Coyote Cojo, in Heywood. Tell her that you’ll be there, and track the quest. Hop into a car and drive your way over to the bar.

Head inside, and have a chat with Jackie’s mom. Have a beer if you so choose. Tell her that you want to take part in the ceremony. She’ll give you the key to Jackie’s garage, so that’s your next target. Sit down and have a chat with Misty, who’ll be sitting in front. Open the garage and scan every item that you can, including the Arch Nazare motorcycle. Pick up the key to Jackie’s room from the workbench in the far left corner, unlock the door, and scan everything in there too. Just so you can make an informed choice about which item you want to bring. We brought the Hemingway book, but you can take anything, really.

Go back into the El Coyote Cojo and talk with Mama Welles to start the ceremony. When it’s your turn, stand up and say a few words, any option will work fine. Throw back a shot, and talk with Mama Welles again. When she mentions Misty in a very unkind way, tell her how much his girlfriend meant to Jackie. At the end, mama will offer you the keys to Jackie’s Arch Nazare motorcycle. Make sure to accept them. IF you refuse them you will lose access to this unique bike that is a good choice as main vehicle throughout the whole game. There are other good and free Cyberpunk vehicles, but this one has that emotional value reminding you of your best friend.

Jackie’s Arch bike via Vik’s Clinic choice – Heroes quest alternative

If, on the other had, you’ve decided to send Jackie to Vik’s clinic, keep playing through the game until his mom texts you. Again, call her, and she’ll tell you that she’s left you a package. This is, by the way, the much shorter version of the Heroes quest. When she hangs up, head over to the mark on the map to the box (it is right in front of your apartment’s door). Open it to get the keys to Jackie’s Arch Nazare. Spoilers Incoming!

This choice will also produce extra fialogue choices throughout the main quest of the game. During Gimme Danger Takemura will reference Jackie remains and what you did with them, giving you a hint on potentially more appearances by the lovable lug. At the very end of the game, depending on your choices and if you visit the cyberspace the right way you will get more story tidbits. This can complete your emotional journey in a more satisfactory way.
