Cyberpunk 2077 Wakako's Favorite - Follow the Lights
Wakako’s Favorite is one of the gigs in Cyberpunk 2077 – they’re those short, memorable quests strewn across Night City. This one begins with a call from Wakako. One of her operatives – Chang Hoon Nam – hasn’t checked in in a while, and she wants you to investigate. Pretty straightforward, right? Except you’ll need strength of several people to get through the front door, and there’s a part where you’re supposed to follow some lights through total darkness, which can be pretty daunting. How to get into Chang Hoon Nam’s hideout?
Once you reach the building where Chang Hoon Nam is hiding out, you’ll need 6 body to pry the door open. If you don’t have it, you can use the dumpster on the left to get up to the ventilation ducts, and into the building. His place is in the basement, but it’s rigged with laser mines – either hack them or shoot them, and you’ll be able to pass unharmed.
Follow the lights
You’ll find Chang Hoon Nam strapped to a netrunner’s chair, and you’ll need to find a certain shard to get him out. If you have enough body, you can just force the door open and grab it – if not, you’ll have to follow the red lights. The problem with them is that they stop blinking when you approach them, so if you don’t follo them straight to the end, you might end up getting lost.
Head left from the glass door, and look for a grate in the floor. Drop down and follow the tunnel – watch out for the laser mines. After you pass the mines, the exit will be just around the corner.
Where to find shard?
When you get out of the crawlspace, face the red light and look at the shelf on your right. The shard will be on it. Grab it, bring it back to Chang Hoon Nam and slot it in – this will allow you to finish the quest.
