The long-awaited 2.0 update to Cyberpunk 2077 is finally here! And with it, a whole host of new improvements to the game. These include overhauls to the combat, perks and skills, cyberware, and much, much more. Besides these gameplay options, new visual enhancements have also made their way into the game. The biggest of these is the inclusion of DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction in CP2077. This option not only makes the game significantly prettier, but it also results in it running better and smoother, with more FPS. However, for some players, the DLSS Ray Reconstruction is greyed out in the Options. Here’s what you can do to fix the DLSS Ray Reconstruction Option being greyed out in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to Fix Cyberpunk 2077 DLSS Ray Reconstruction Greyed Out
First of all, you should make certain that you have the latest Nvidia Graphics Card drivers. You need to have at least the GeForce Game Ready Driver version 537.42, which was released on September 21st, 2023. Needless to say, this also means that you need a GeForce RTX graphics card in order to be able to run this option and get all the advantages of DLSS Sharpness in Cyberpunk 2077.
Now, as for how to enable DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction in CP2077, you need to be aware that this option is currently only available on Nvidia 4000 series cards (specifically, 4070Ti and up), as well as on the 3090 (though here it will work on 1080p and 30 FPS).
What Is Ray Reconstruction In Cyberpunk 2077?
This is a new option that has been added with DLSS 3.5. Ray Reconstruction affects how ray-tracing lighting and other such effects work and look. Using advanced AI, this option reduces their normally high-impact on the GPU, while simultaneously making them look even better. This results in smoother gameplay with enhanced visuals.
