How to Start Season 2 of Warzone 2 & MW2 on Steam

To start Season 2 on Warzone 2 and MW2 on Steam, you have to download the newest update, obviously. The problem there is that a lot of you seem to have a problem finding the new update on this particular platform. If that is the case, then you have to restart Steam. Firstly, turn the app off completely. I mean, don’t even let it run in the background. Then, activate Steam again. After it boots up, the new content should be available for download. The same is true on any of the other launchers, too. No matter which PC platform you use to play Warzone 2 and/or Modern Warfare 2, you may have to restart it in order to get access to the new content.

And there you go, that’s how you start season 2 of Warzone 2 and MW2 on Steam. If the update doesn’t appear for downloading after restarting the client, then you might have encountered some weird bug. I can only recommend contacting support and seeing whether they can help you out. While you wait, keep restating the client, just in case that the rollout is just late in your time zone. Many things can go wrong when these updates come out (especially if Activision Blizzard is involved). That said, in this particular case, rebooting Steam or Battle.net should be enough to solve the problem. If you have any other solutions, feel free to share them with us in the comments.
