The Haunting 2023 event has just kicked off in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. This year’s Halloween event brings an abundance of exciting new modes as well as many twists to the familiar elements of the game. Of course, there are plenty of free rewards for those of you ready to grind for them! During the event, you will be able to capture the souls of your eliminated enemies in MW2 or Warzone. Once you terminate them, they will start shining and you can collect their soul. It’s that easy! Extinguish the enemies, get their shiny souls in MW2 multiplayer or Warzone, and redeem those poor souls for some juicy rewards! You don’t need to click anything, you run by the shiny soul, and it will be yours.
Can’t Capture Souls in Modern Warfare 2 The Haunting Event
However, some players currently report that they are unable to collect souls in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. At the moment, we can not confirm if this is intended or not. Some players report that it only works in Warzone and DMZ. We will make sure to update the article once we have more information about this glitch. Nevertheless, what we can confirm is that you are limited to a maximum of 16 souls per match. Once you reach 16 souls, new dead enemies will not drop souls for you. This goes for both NPC soldiers and real players. But, that doesn’t mean that you can drop the match at that point! The game will not count your souls unless you finish the match!
