Why is Ranked Play Unavailable MW3 Season 3

Let’s not beat around the bush here and jump straight to the chase. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 ranked play is currently unavailable because we’re transitioning from Season 2 to Season 3. That was always the case since they introduced ranked in MW2 back in Season 1 in 2022. The Ranked Play mode is temporarily disabled at the beginning of each season to allow the developers to perform some maintenance and adjustments behind the scenes. You will see that the Ranked Play button is not clickable and it says “Unavailable”. This is normal and it does not mean that you are banned. Well, not yet. When is Ranked Play Coming in Modern Warfare 3 Season 3?

The exact launch time of Ranked Play in MW3 Season 2 is still unknown, as Sledgehammer Games, the studio behind MW3, did not announce it officially. However, we can make some estimates based on previous seasons of MW3. Usually, the ranked mode was offline for about 4 to 6 hours during the transition between seasons. Therefore, we hope that this will be the case this time as well. If everything goes smoothly, you should be able to play ranked later today.
