Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Waiting on Playlist Error After Match Season 6 Update

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 is now live! However, unfortunately, there’s also a myriad of issues upon launch. Players report all kinds of bugs and glitches at the start of the new season. Ranging from being unable to download the update, not being able to edit loadouts, and much more. However, one particularly frustrating issue comes in the form of the MW2 Waiting on Playlist Error. This annoying issue comes every time you complete a match of MW2. “Anyone else getting waiting on the playlist after every match,” asks Reddit user Mennik9. “To then be kicked back to the main menu with the error timed out waiting for datacenters.”

And he’s far from being the only person with the same issue. The errors always appear after the match, and players are then kicked back to the main menu. After a while, another error occurs – the WOLTERS-FRANCIS or Timed Out Waiting for Datacenter error. The issue is not related to a specific platform, as players on Xbox, PS5 and PC are reporting getting the same problem every time. Unfortunately, for now, we don’t know the solution to this. If you know a proven-to-work solution, please share it with us in the comments section! In the meantime, we can only hope that Activision and their developers will fix the issue as soon as possible.
