The full release of Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer is finally here, and players are rushing to try out all the available content at launch. Those who have preordered the Vault Edition will get a handful of bonus content to show off in multiplayer, including Red Team 141, the FJX Cinder Weapon Vault, Season 1 Battle Pass, and more. Modern Warfare 2 Vault Edition Missing and Pre-Order Bonus Not Showing

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer is now officially live. However, as is often the case with big AAA releases, there are quite a few problems at launch. One of the usual problems is that players don’t know where to find their preorder bonus content. More specifically, players who have preordered the MW2 Vault Edition should receive these items at launch:

  • Red Team 141 – Ghost, Farah, Price, and Soap
  • Season One Battle Pass and 50 Tier Skips
  • FJX Cinder Weapon Vault
  • 10 Hours Double XP Tokens
  • 10 Hours Double Weapon XP Tokens

These are only the rewards in Modern Warfare 2. In addition, months ago players were also rewarded with over 20 bonus items to use in Modern Warfare (2019) and Call of Duty: Warzone. So, if you can not find your MW2 Vault Edition content, what to do? Don’t worry. It has been reported by players that had the same issue that all you have to do is to restart the game a couple of times until the content appears in the game. If needed, restart your console or PC as well. This should eventually do the trick. Nonetheless, we will make sure to update the article if we find some other workaround.

    I have the same issue I’m on Xbox series x and I have everything downloaded but it doesn’t let me access any of it. And tells me I have to rebuy the vault edition. I uninstalled it twice now restarted it multiple times and nothing helps. I have no access to anything other then the base game. This is absolute BS

    I am unable to see my extras from Gold Edition this is a bunch of bull****. I pre ordered two weeks ago and still just have the piss standard edition, why! I even took a day off to enjoy so thank u Call of Duty programera so if u charge that much for a game iron ur damn hiccups this is bull****.

    Same thing happening on my end. I purchased the Vault Edition for my PS5 but I only have access to the Cross-Gen Bundle. Hopefully they roll out a fix for it soon. Calling Playstation support was useless, they kept trying to tell me that I need to contact the Game Publisher. Little do they know I never get a response from Activison. In other words, SONY is telling you that you’ve been scammed and there’s nothing they could do about it.

    I’m on Xbox series X and didn’t get the Vault edition rewards. Having to re-download in hope it works. For £99.99 this is not brilliant and not worth the wait or money for!

    I have the vault edition on PC via Battle.Net app. It claims I don’t have the vault edition yet ik for a fact i do cuz i paid $99.99 usd ( i think that was the price ) I even uninstalled and reinstalled just now, and still shows nothing about it….. very confused.

    To get the bundles that came with vault purchase! Go into your library click purchased scroll to game and click it. It’s going to bring up an overview screen scroll down to playstation store push over on left to where it says your add ons and click that there you will see down arrows next to the little pictures on some of those click each one to down load and then you will get your content. I did this after trying to restart

    It’s crazy I waste $100 on the game and just for them to ask for 30 more and in the PlayStation store I can only download cross gen version and the vault edition just says owned dog s**t game

    I had the same problem all I did was restore the licenses and restarted my PlayStation then boom it worked ??

      1. On PlayStation, do this: Go to Settings > Account Management > Restore Licenses

          I go to my account and there’s nothing for account management like you’re stating and I can’t find anything that says restore licenses anywhere

          1. Here’s how to restore PlayStation Store licenses:

            Head to Settings.
            Open Users and Accounts.
            Go to “Other” and then to “Restore Licenses”.
            Select Restore and wait until the operation has been completed.
            Restart your console.
            Make sure to download all of the additional MW2 content.

    I purchased the vault addition for $99.99 And I can see the charge on my bank account for that amount and it’s not giving me the vault edition of this game all the stuff that I spent the extra money for is not here and it’s asking me for another $30 to unlock the vault edition when I’ve already paid the full amount

            If you’re still not getting it then take a hammer to your console or PC…..a really big hammer. Strike it until you what you want

        I have purchased the $100 COD MW2 Vault digital edition and none of the cosmetics are showing up and I tried restarting and also tried the restore license but nothing will work. On the COD home menu page on the store it pops up where I can buy the $30 upgrade bundle but I already checked my bank and it shows where I spend the $100. I’m so confused

          I’ve got problem with access to valut content on second profile ( PS5) . On first (where I buy mw2) , everything it’s available, when I switch to my second profile I’ve got only standard version, without valut content. Anyone can have some solution?

            Because vault pre order bonuses arent cross transferable across profiles. Only the game is. Therefore you have to play the game on the account used to purchase the game in order to have access to all the benefits.

        Make sure all of your games are closed and pull out your power cord while your controller and console is on. I haven’t tried, but it works for most situations where something is wrong with your console.
