The ultimate “one more turn” video game is getting its 7th official sequel and it’s time to find out what exactly can we expect from it. To help us with that 2K and Firaxis Games have revealed that they will be doing a gameplay showcase on August 20, 2024. This is all happening together with the start of Europe’s biggest gaming expo Gamescom 2024. Here are the details of when you should watch the gameplay reveal and new information about Civilization VII.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII Gameplay Showcase Schedule

On August 20 at 11:00 AM PT you’ll be able to watch the world premiere of Civilization VII gameplay at Gamescom Opening Night Live. Fans can watch the event live on Twitch.tv/gamescom. Just a couple of hours later at 1:30 PM PT Firaxis’ official Gameplay Showcase will go live on Twitch.tv/FiraxisGames. This 20-minute presentation will feature exclusive insights and deep dives into the game’s new features and innovations.

Where to see Civilization VII in action early?

Attendees at Gamescom can visit the official Civilization VII booth in Hall 6 for an in-person experience. If you’re not in Europe in August you can also wait for PAX in Seattle, WA. The Civilization VII Pax Panel will take place at the Main Theater on the 5th floor of the Summit Building. The panel will also be streamed live on Twitch.tv/PAX.
