MW3 Tactical Stance Explained
If you need the MW3 Tactical Stance explained, you’re not the only one. After all, it is a new mechanic, and it’s not communicated that well. So, it’s a bit difficult to wrap your head around it. In this guide, we are going to explain what the Tac-Stance is in COD MW3 or COD Modern Warfare 3 or MWZ, how to get into the Tac-Stance, and what you can unlock if you get 25 kills while in Tactical Stance with SVA 545 and other guns. Let’s begin!
What is a Tactical Stance MW3
The Tactical Stance or Tac-Stance in COD MW3 or Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 or MWZ is a new mechanic that’s kinda in between hip-firing and full ADS, aka aiming down sights. It lets you aim more precisely while not going straight into scope mode (and therefore retaining some mobility). Now, according to the official blog, you can automatically go into Tac-Stance while sliding, but that’s kinda… unreliable. It’s much better to go into it manually. Neat, how do you do that?
There are two options. Head straight into the Movement Advanced Keybinds and scroll down to Tactical Stance. You’ll have the choice between ADS + Melee, ADS + the Down button, and Off. Set it to whatever works best for you, and with a little practice, you’ll master the system in no time. And I believe there are attachments that make going into Tac-Stance easier, like by just pressing down on the d-pad.
Get 25 Kills While in Tactical Stance with SVA 545
If you get 25 kills while in the COD MW3 Tactical Stance or Tac-Stance with the SVA 545, you’ll get the Monarch Camo base skin. In fact, there are a few different guns that have the same prerequisite for unlocking a skin. This includes the MTZ-556 (Purple skin), the MCW (Menelaus Blue skin), the Holger 556 (Magma Heat skin), the FR 5.56 (Tiger Blood skin), and the DG-58 (Oakleaf skin). There might be a few more that also require going into the Tac-Stance in Modern Warfare 3; let us know in the comments if that’s the case.
Now for some good news. Getting kills while in the Tactical Stance is actually fairly easy. Again, you get to aim with some precision while maintaining some mobility and handling. It’s the best of both worlds. With a little practice, you’ll be mowing people down.
