How to Get MW3 Floater Trophy

To get the COD MW3 Floater trophy, or the achievement in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, you have to “parachute off a Gantry Crane onto the roof of the Harbormaster’s Building in ‘Precious Cargo.’” Sounds like it should be easy, and it is, but the challenge is figuring out where the Gantry Crane is and which place is the Harbormaster’s Building. Well, it’s in the southeastern corner of the map during the Precious Cargo mission, as you can see in the screenshots below. What you have to do is climb up to the crane that is closest to the corner of the building (using the ladders, of course). Then, you jump towards the roof and quickly open your parachute to make it across the gap. It all has to happen in a split second, so time it carefully.

So, yeah, that’s how you get the Floater trophy or achievement in COD MW3 or Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. I do love that the thing calls you a turd; I can’t stop giggling at it. Now, there is a chance that you might fail initially and have to try again. That’s fine, but be careful if you’re under fire. Clear the area as much as you can before attempting. If you miss the jump, still open the parachute to not take damage due to falling down so far.
