MW3 Attachments Not Showing Up Fix
If the MW3 attachments you’ve unlocked are not showing up in the gunsmith, you’re not alone. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer is now officially live across the globe, and fans of the most popular FPS franchise are already grinding for their weapons’ camos and attachments. However, some players are having an issue with missing MW3 attachments, and we’re talking about those they have already unlocked. If you are one of them, read on as we explain what we know about this and if it can be fixed.
How to Fix Attachments Not Showing Up Bug in Modern Warfare 3
If your MW3 attachments have suddenly disappeared, you should know that this is a widespread bug. Unfortunately, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 was released in a rather buggy state. As reported by Jason Schreier, the renowned gaming journalist, Sledgehammer was allegedly forced to make the game in a period of only a year and a half. Hence, as a result, we have a buggy mess of a game. One particularly infuriating and game-breaking bug is where the unlocked MW3 attachments are not showing up. “Yesterday, I was able to use all the attachments as normal and even made some custom blueprints,” wrote Reddit user Coltonkotecki1024. “Today, the attachments I have unlocked are not showing up in the gunsmith. I can still use the blueprints I made yesterday. But if I remove one of the attachments, I won’t be able to put it back.”
And judging by the comments, there are many other players with the same issue. So, is this a fixable issue? To be perfectly frank, it seems that for a 100% working solution, we’ll need to wait for a hotfix. However, some players report that you need to make sure that your attachment filters are turned off. Some players forget about this, and that’s why they don’t see other attachments. However, what you absolutely need to do is to submit a ticket to Activision Support. Hopefully, they will be able to fix the issue for you. For now, that’s all we know. Nevertheless, we will make sure to update the article if we stumble upon other working solutions.
