How to get into Lectra City?

To get into Lectra City in Borderlands 3, you’ll have to get the Kill Killavolt side quest from Moxxie. You can do so by speaking with her on board Sanctuary after you complete the Impending Storm main mission. You can also get this mission in Meridian Metroplex on Promethea after you reach the Go to Sanctuary step of The Impending Storm. That’s how we got it, and you can see where below.

From there, follow the quest marker to the entrance into Lectra City, and go through. Now, normally, you can’t proceed any further into Lectra City after crossing the “barrier.” You might be crestfallen to see that the switch for the door is red and locked again. Worry not, though. At this junction, all you have to do is wait for Moxxie to finish her monologue. Once she does, the switch will turn green. Flip it, and enter Lectra City. Good luck.

Lectra City Secret Weapon Chest

During your exploration of Lectra City, starting with the battle royale section of the Kill Killavolt mission, you can find a hidden weapon chest in the Big Dock Energy area. That’s the little “tail” in the southeast corner of the map (see images if necessary). From the entrance to the zone, you’ll be able to see several large crane magnets. The first one is holding a yellow container, and that’s where you wanna be, on top of that magnet.

So, all you gotta do is head up the steps on the right, then turn left and climb on top of the two stacked yellow containers. From there, jump onto the container that the magnet is holding. Climb onto the magnet, open the chest, and enjoy your spoils.
