Borderlands 3 Increase Inventory – How to Get More Space

How to get more inventory space in BL3?

You start off with a mere 15-slot inventory, and you won’t be able to expand it for a while. You’ll get a chance to increase your inventory size once you arrive on Sanctuary. Once you’re there, look for a shop called Marcus’ Munitions. One of the things he sells are Super Duper Usefuls, or SDUs. Look for an item called a Backpack SDU – that’s your expander. Each one will give you three more inventory slots. That’s not much, but it’ll help at least a bit.

You’ll be able to buy more of these as you progress through the game, but you’ll need cash. In the meantime, try to minimize the amount of loot you grab in the field – take only stuff that could actually be useful to you and leave the junk behind. You should also look for the Lost Loot Machine on Sanctuary. It’ll allow you to pick up stuff that’s Rare (or a higher rarity) without actually picking it up – it’ll send the gear to the hub, where you can pick it up after the mission.

No matter how you look at it, you’re going to be overwhelmed by loot – nothing can help with that, not even the inventory upgrades and postmaster. That’s the whole point of Borderlands. If you can’t stand the incessant avalanche of stuffs, you’re in the wrong place.
