Gotham By Night Trailer | Batman: Arkham Knight
Rocksteady have released another trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight. It’s called Gotham By Night, and it shows off some combat, driving the Batmobile around town, a visit to the GCPD jailhouse and, well, Gotham by night.
The video is narrated in part by Adam Doherty, the game’s player code director, which is fancy devspeak for someone who handles character movement and controls of the player character.
After he’s done with them, he summons the Batmobile and goes for a ride, which turns into a glide (you can jump out of a moving vehicle). A trip to the GCPD headquarters shows villains and thugs he’s captured, and he can interact with them. At this point, only his fists interact, but hopefully he’ll be able to extract information from the prisoners in the game.
In the end, they turn their attention to fan questions. During this part, we’ve learned that players will be able to see tire marks when using detective mode, there’s more villains coming in the future and that Arkham Knight will be the longest Batman game Rocksteady’s ever made.
Batman: Arkham Knight will launch on June 23rd, on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

He starts off by gliding across Gotham, showing a new move called a “dive boost”, which increases the speed at which Batman glides after taking a dive. He then stops to engage in combat with a group of protesters – if you’ve played any of the previous Arkham games, you’ll feel right at home here. The choreography is new, but the basics are the same.
