Spider Egg Sac Baldur's Gate 3
As exploration is such a huge part of Baldur’s Gate III, it’s no wonder that you will come across many strange items during your adventures in the game. Many of them don’t really have much of a use, but there are those that can be used – and in very surprising ways. For example, there is the Spider Egg Sac item. The description for this item reads that: “Something – or some things – wriggle within the sticky shell.” This definitely points to the Spider Egg Sac being usable in Baldur’s Gate 3. But what is its purpose and how can you actually interact with it in BG3? That’s what we’re here to find out.
How to Use Spider Egg Sac in Baldur’s Gate 3
Once you get this item in your possession, you will probably be confused at first on what you need to do with it. Whether you need to use it in the Underdark (famous for its huge spiders), or maybe to give it to another character, possibly even to sell it. So what is the Spider Egg Sac, and how is it used in Baldur’s Gate III? Not surprisingly, this spider egg is full of little spiders. To use it, first go into your inventory and find this item. Right-click on it and select the drop item option. Now, while it is on the ground, use any sort of attack on it. It doesn’t matter what type of attack this is – melee, ranged, or magical.
Doing this will cause the Spider Egg Sac to break, revealing many little spiders inside. These spiderlings will then follow you around, attacking all of your enemies. Since summons are so powerful in this game, this is a great option to get some more bodies on your side in a fight where you are outnumbered. They will disappear after a long rest, so it’s best if you break open the Spider Egg Sac before a particularly tough fight.
