BG3 Karlach Location

Baldur’s Gate 3 features almost a dozen companions for you to recruit into your party. Out of these, six of them come in the form of Origin Companions. Just like in Divinity: Original Sin 2, these characters and their stories are much better integrated into the game. If you don’t select that Origin at character creation, you will instead meet them as a joinable companion in the game itself. Such is the case with Karlach. A female Tiefling Barbarian, she is a welcome addition to just about any party. Of course, before you can recruit her, you need to find her first. In order to help you get her and her considerable martial might into your party, here is the location where Karlach is in BG3.

Note that you won’t be able to find Karlach right from the start of the game. Unlike Lae’zel and Shadowheart, there’s no option to (temporarily) recruit her while you are still on the Nautiloid. It is going to take a while until you reach the point on the map where she is. While you can stumble upon her simply by exploring the first open area, it’s much easier to first talk to Wyll at the Druid Grove. Doing this is going to highlight her general location. Also, since Wyll is connected to her (in a way we’d rather not spoil), it’s also a good idea to take him along with you when meeting her.

Her exact location coordinates are X:111 and Y:502. And, as you can see, we have marked the precise spot where you can meet her in our screenshot gallery. Once you meet her, you don’t need to do anything else to get her into your party, simply ask for her to join you and you will have another powerful addition to your party. However, note that you will first need to calm down Wyll, who wants to fight her. Though, this isn’t too hard to do.
