BG3 Adamantine Forge Stuck
In our BG3 Adamantine Forge stuck guide, we will explain how to fix the two most common bugs with the Forge in Baldur’s Gate 3. There are two potential scenarios in which the Adamantine Forge doesn’t work. The first one is where you just can’t make the second item even though you have the Mithral Ore. The second one is where the lava just won’t stop flowing. Without further ado, let’s jump into it.
BG3 Adamantine Forge Stuck – Can Craft Only One Item
The first bug that might hit you in the Adamantine Forge in BG3 or Baldur’s Gate 3 lets you craft only one item. After you craft your first item (which can be one of six, as shown below), you have to fight a boss. After the fight, you can take both the item you’ve crafted and loot the body of the boss. I highly recommend doing both. However, do not touch the forge lever, because that’s what can trigger the bug. Instead, be sure to eject the mold by pulling the nearby lever. Then, press the elevator button to bring you back up top. From there, you can safely repeat the process.
BG3 Adamantine Forge Bugged Item Stuck in Lava
The second possible bug in the Adamantine Forge in Baldur’s Gate 3 or BG3 is that the lava doesn’t want to stop pouring in after the boss fight. That means you won’t be able to get your item without melting it and also possibly taking damage from the scorching heat. You can try to fix this by turning the lava valve several times to hopefully make it stop running. If that doesn’t work, then try loading an earlier save; that seems to help. It saved our butt, for sure. This can also work with the previous bug. It could be that the position of the boss’s body can cause the problem, so be sure they don’t keel over in the same place.
No to the first answer. The mould release lever is stuck for me with the mould in the chamber that I used to craft the first item, which was a scale mail that I grabbed in the middle of the boss fight. When I lowered it on the boss the second time, I still hadn’t released the scale armor mould, nor had I loaded the second piece of mithril into the center. I also didn’t raise the platform. The golem’s body is overlapping the mould slightly, which I have to presume is the problem, as I have reloaded several times and proceeded in various ways afterward. If I load the second piece of mithril, the only way to unstick it is to craft another scale armor with the main forge lever, which isn’t what I want to do. The lava lever still works for me, though the forge lever will craft another scale armor in the upper or lower position, without regard to the presence of lava.
